Part Number: OPA857EVM-978 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA857 Hello,
I bought the OPA857EVM-978, but I won't feed the output to an ADC.
Instead, I will feed it to a passive filter and then to a PID circuit. Thus, I would like to convert the psudo…
Part Number: OPA857EVM-978 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA857 Hello;
I have purchased OPA857 EVM for transimpedance amplifier circuit measurement and avalanche Photodiode pulse measurement for my P.h.D thesis.
First I have connected J4 (And I limit the…
Part Number: OPA857EVM-978 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA857 The first time I tested this board I was unable to get it functioning properly.
I spoke with a representative of TI yesterday regarding this issue and was advised to post here to determine…
Hello Enpa,
Your understanding of the datasheet is correct. The quote from page 17 is referring to a DC bias at Test_IN if you are wanting to use the OPA857 in Test mode.
The OPA857 EVM outlines and explains the test procedure for this device in detail…
Hello Sima,
We simply connected the cathode of the APD to +150 V and the anode to inverting input of the OPA857.
We used the bandwidth extension EVM of OPA857(OPA857EVM-978).
I hope this answers your questions.
Thanks ,
Krishna
Hi Ali,
Please disregard my previous comment. I thought you were referring to the OPA857EVM, but I see that you have the OPA857EVM-978. The transformer primary winding will be a short circuit at DC, so you will not be able to make a DC measurement across…
Part Number: OPA857EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA857 Hello,
I have tried a few different photodiodes with this board but I have only got ~30mV as my highest output. I'm woundering what the highest output is for this board. Is it depending on…
