Part Number: PCA9536 Hello E2E,
What is P-port status as default?
I saw the description in datasheet that the default is input with high-Z mode in p.16, but i could see the internal pull-high 100k in figure 17.
Which one is correct?
In system…
Hi Chris-san,
Thank you for the detailed explanation.
Could you please confirm just in case, but is my understanding correct that the maximum output frequency of P0 ~ P3 is about 1.72kHz by a formula "1/290 us/2" as PCA9536 needs 290us to write and…
Part Number: PCA9536 Dear E2E,
We would like to use PCA9536 to control the WP of EEPROM & Flash.
And, We would like to let EE_WP# its default is low in order to let EEPROM can be written.
We are not sure if we need to add a pull low resistor (R530…
Part Number: PCA9536 Dear all,
one of my AA is experiencing some issues with the PCA9536. The polarity register starts wiht not default values.
I've doublechecked the POR, on the power off the device seems to be in spec, see below: (blue line is the…
Hello Pavan,
The PCA9536 can operate down to 2.3V.
Do you have schematics of the two different designs? Also, it is always useful to look at the waveforms for SDA and SCL.

Part Number: PCA9536 Hi All,
Can anyone tell me what the typical (or max) standby current is for the PCA9536 with all the I/O set for outputs? The datasheet only covers the case with the I/O set as inputs.
In my application, the outputs will be set…
Part Number: TPS7A7100 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCA9536 , PCA9557 I will controlled the output voltage of TPS7A7100 by i2c iio expander. Discribed in App Note:

Part Number: PCA9536 Hi Team,
Please help to confirm the thermal information of PCA9536DGKR. Data sheet doesn't show Θjc.
Also, how to calculate its power dissipation? Please kindly provide the formula.
Thanks
Part Number: PCA9536 My customer would like an i2c I/O expander with a reset function so they can ensure the device will be in a known state. They are looking at the PCA9537 from NXP. We do not have a direct cross. Do we have any I/O expanders with this…
