Hello Experts,
I'm building an audio DAC for my own use.
I tested the PCM1794A – it sounds very good, but it doesn't allow me to simultaneously set the options I'd like to…
Part Number: PCM1792A Tool/software: I have an application where I am controlling the PCM1792A with an ESP32. I am simply trying to read registers over SPI bus at this point. ESP32 is configured in mode 0, and clock speed is set to 500 kHz. Logic analyzer…
Part Number: PCM1792A Hello
I am working on a DAC project using the PCM1792A. It is a project that passes the time during the dark winter months here in Scandinavia! The setup uses a PIC MCU to control things like volume etc. based on input data.

Part Number: PCM1792A Hi,
I see the datasheet that the PCM1792A supports the sampling frequency from 10KHz to 200KHz,so the PCM1792A supports the 88.2KHz sampling frequency, right?

Part Number: PCM1792A Hello
I'd like yo know if we don't need the zero detect function. Should we tie the pin 1, pin 2 to ground or leave it floating?
Thank you very much.
Part Number: PCM1792A Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM1792 Hello,
Here is my PCM1792 implementation:
PCM1792 is feeded via an Xmos CPU, with this implementation:
This design works, but there is issue when the frequency 'AUDIO_MCLK' change…
Hi Paul,
As I said I don't want to use TDMCA
I want ti use I2S and SPI independently and my question is to know if I can connect the SPI in daisy chain because I have four PCM1792a to interface.
Thanks
Part Number: PCM1792A Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM1792 , Hello,
I have a question regarding right usage of PCM1792/A.
For a pcba design I use two power generators, one relative to digital and the other for analog.
Some time I want to switch…
