Hi Gareth,
LM5022 can be used in the flyback configuration for PoE application. Please see attached design: PMP20497 reference design | TI.com
Thanks,
Richard
Part Number: LM5022 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP20497 Dear Sir, PoE Power Schematic(LM5022).pdf
There is a TI reference design, PMP20497 made by LM5022. I have a question here. I calculated the current passing throguh photo diode (U2), and got…
Part Number: LM5022 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP20497 , Dear Sir/Ms.
I refer the PMP20497 to design the power solution.

Vout: 55.5V/1A (system load 0A~0.6A)
Can I remove the Flyback transformer auxiliary…
Part Number: LM5022 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP20497 Hi Sir
I can't use Webench to simulator Vin=9~36V to 54Vout/1.2A with flyback structure ,due to webecn show vout maximum is 50V
Could you help to check this issue
Hi Adjivas,
Thanks for considering the LM5022 in your design. I've attached my responses below:
Q: Is a output of 34.8V @ 1.17A or 34.8V @ 0.5A possible?
The application section discusses how to design a circuit to generate a 40V rail that can output…
Hi Gareth,
The TPS23882EVM is really the best circuit to copy. You can copy the same circuit design for each port.
For the DCDC, the solution I can find on TI Design library is shown below.
