Part Number: UCC2897A Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP7499 , Tool/software: At present, the products based on PMP7499 output 12v5a work normally, and the new demand needs to modify the output voltage to 24V2.5A. How to modify the transformer coil and…
Part Number: PMP7499 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2379 , , TPS23881 , UCC2897A Hi
1, I want to know, weather the PMP7499 reference design truely support a 12V@5A(60W) application ? I mean, under 60W load, the internal and external MOSFET may flow…
Hi Jithin,
You can either do dual-PD using TPS2372 TPS2372-4's internal hotswap may not be able to support 120 W alone. The attached document may help. Beyond BT High-Power PoE Solution using the TPS23880 and TPS2372-4_slva986.pdf
For non-standard design…
Part Number: TPS2373 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP7499 , UCC2897A Hi Sir
The Customer use TPS2373 to modify PMP7499 to finish 12V/5A spec request.
May you pls help check if the circuit is ok?

Part Number: TPS2379 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP7499 Hi Sir, I have question about PMP7499 TI Design and schematic note "If a current sharing PSE is not used, current sharing will be dependent on cable, connector and POE transformer impedances…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP7499 I would like to ask about PMP7499 circuit design.
In the PMP7499 schematic (slvrb55), there is no termination circuit at the PoE+ magnetics center tap of data port side. Is there any reason why there is no? Isn…
Hi Chen,
I recommend designing the PD controller design the same as TPS2373-4EVM-758 except for the converter design. Then you can take PMP7499 which is 12V/5A (same topology as the EVM) and copy the converter design to replace the one on the EVM.
…
Hi Sumit,
I recommend using the same design on the EVM that you reference, and switch the converter design to the one used in PMP7499. Please see below link.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2379 , PMP7499 , TPS23861 , TPS2378 Dear Support team,
My customer is studying about PD of non-standard PoE like UPOE with LLDP.
They need 51W as PD.
In this case, can we proposal reference design of "PMP7499" with TPS2379…
Hi Javi,
The TPS2379 uses an external FET for higher power applications so you have flexibility of designing your effective RDSon. For example, PMP7499 is a 60W solution that uses the TPS2379 in high power configuration.
