Hi Pratik,
As described in response to the other EE post, droop can be accomplished by sensing the output current and summing that information into the feedback, or another way is to limit the DC gain of the feedback loop.
thanks, Brian
Part Number: PMP9730 As we design AC to DC converter products. So we have a quires regarding universal AC input, 12V/3A single stage PFC Flyback Reference Design with Synchronous Rectification evaluation board. Please clarify this design support our following…
Hello Jitendra,
The UCC28051 and the UCC28056 have completely different foot-prints and some functional differences and cannot be easily substituted for each other. The UCC28056 is promoted for new designs of standard low-power boost-PFC applications. …
Part Number: UCC28051 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PMP9730 , UCC28501 , UCC28811 Hello,
I am referring to the PMP9730 reference design employs the UCC28051. While going through the schematic design I came cross the UCC28051 device and came to know that…
Hi Nakai-san,
A PFC controller is normally a boost topology. We do have reference designs like PMP9730 which uses a customer transformer to implement a single-stage PFC/Flyback. The UCC28050 was the first in this series and the latest is the UCC2805…
Hi Kazuya,
I took a look at all the reference designs and PMPs with this part number, and I just could find PFC Boost converters and Flybacks power supplies, which this is part is intended to be used for. Please, see attached reference design part numbers…
Hi Ulrich
Thanks for the email
We have miscommunication I am not looking at the PMP9730
I am looking at UCC28051 ref design below
100-W Universal Line Input PFC Boost Converter Using the UCC28051
Please look at the user guide (sluu152a) schematic all the…
Hi Josef,
Having a 12W output with PFC is not a usual requirement, specifically not with Q100 devices.
Never the less, we have some PFC Flyback designs that might fit here.
Please see the design below as an idea of what it will look like.
