Why do you 'need' so much cap?
Is it possible to add a resistor to create ESR? Even if you can't, it might be stable just from the impedance of PCB trace and/or ferrite beads in the output path.
For higher currents that can also support more output…

All PTH power modules have lot codes imprinted on the module label.
161265V= :1=year 2011: 6=month 6 une 2011.
251708V= :2=year 2012 : 5=mont 5 May 2012.
The PTH05050W published frequency range is minimum 550kHz to maximum 650kHz The released lots…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PTH05050W , PTH04000W I have a design that has 3 power modules, PTH05050W and PTH04000W (x2). These are feed by a common 5V main supply.
PTH05050W - 5Vin, 3.3Vout, 3.0A max, step load 0.5A max
PTH04000W - 5Vin, 2…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PTH05050W , TPS74301 Hello,
I am in the middle of designing a power circuit for an FPGA based system. I am using the PTH04000 and the PTH05050W to derive the voltages for the core and I/o respectively. I am also using…
Hello,
The UCC3806 is a dual output controller though it can be used in a flyback where only one of the outputs are used to drive the switch it might be better to choose a single output controller. Look at page 46 of the attached under General Purpose…
Siyu,
I think the toggle flip-flop in the block diagram on page one of the spec should have let you know that the max you will get with this device is 50% duty.
Go to page 43 and 44 of the attached and select a more suitable part.
Peter,
i am enclosing the Power Management Guide for 2011. The section you will be interested in starts on page 43 and actual devices listed on page 46, With the minimum information you have given me I would expect that you will want something like…
Hi,
I've attached the 2013 User's Guide for power products. Starting on page 53 you will find a selection of PWM controllers. many of these teh frequency can be varied according to external criteria.
As an example if you use a UC3842 it is a simple…
