For the REF3020AIDBZ part, the datasheet says the absolute max input voltage is 7V, and everything mentions a typical Vin of 5V, but can we can operate the part without any negative effects all the way up to 7V, or is there a recommended range, say 5V…

Hi Howard, 1. Is the +5V at input of REF3120 free from ripple? Think about using an RC-filter at input of REF3120, maybe 4R7 + 2µ2. 2. Think also about inserting a resistance (about 4R7) between output of REF3120 and REF-input of microcontroller…

Hi, Input voltage dropped at ADC pin, because your feedback circuit. Example: when I only used resistors to feedback voltage --> dropped. When I connected 2.048V reference (REF3020 of TI), it was still 2.048V. So, I think, the feedback circuit need op…

Hi Santiago, In your case (AVDD=3.3V) you could use any reference voltage in the range 0.5-2.3V. Choice is up to you and system requirements. For 2V reference you could used REF3020 (voltage reference in SOT23-3 package)

The datasheet recommends a 0.47uF decoupling capacitor for the REF30XX (specifically REF3020 in my case). I'm wondering why that particular value was recommended instead of, say, 0.1uF, which is more common. Using a 0.47uF capacitor would add a line item…

In my case, a constant voltage with a value of 2.048 generated by REF3020 is connected directly to one AD pin. However, the conversion result of AD fluctuates between 2080 and 2096 when refleshing the watch window in CCS. On the other hand, different setting…
