Hi Jackson, Thank you for your reply. Application is ADS8862(680ksps) reference voltage for 5V. MY board has REF5050 so I will try to change from REF5050 to REF6050 for improving settling error. Following are configuration on the universal board…

Hi Nick, Thanks for the question. The reference selection tool seems to be parsing the voltage level data incorrectly. You may use a precision 5V reference like the REF5050. Please follow the guidance in the datasheet regarding decoupling capacitors…

  • RE: ADS8910B: RVS Pin not responding

    Ryan Andrews

Hello Michael, In mode ADCs, the analog inputs can be driven as long as the analog supply voltage has ramped. In the ADS8910B, the Abs. Max Ratings table refers the analog inputs to VREF, so I would also check that the REF5050 output has at least started…

  • RE: REF02: start up

Hi Aaron, The start up time is heavily dependent on the input cap and output cap. Due to how old this device is, I do not have the data on how it was originally tested. Is there a reason why your customer is using the REF02 compared to the REF5050…

  • RE: DAC80501: I would like you review the attached implentation of the DAC80501. Note that the VREFIO and VDD are both connected to 4.5V.

Randall, That makes sense. In fact the Iq on VDD is probably even worse since now that rail has to supply both the REF5050 and the DAC80501 to fight one another. The REF5050 isn't even completely turned on, though.
