Hi John,
Thanks for reaching out. I am assuming isolated DC/DC solution based on SN6501 to be supporting 5V @ 200mA to be meet 1W requirement. BAT54C has a absolute maximum forward current rating of 200mA and there is absolutely no margin. Hence, BAT54C…

Due to supply limitations, I can only get SN6505A's instead of SN6505BDBVR's . It has a slower switching frequency than the B. This…
Part Number: ISO3086T Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN6501 , SN6505B , SN6505A Hello,
Many EVMs and application notes mention Coilcraft transformer for use with ISO3086T. However, the coilcraft part is costly and hard for sourcing. Can you please confirm…
Part Number: SN6501 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN6505B Hi team,
My customer wants to use the SN6501 to design 3.3v input, 6.6v output, then use a LDO to generate 5v, 200ma.
we have found some transformers as the attachments. Could you please help check…
Part Number: DRV8353RS-EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8353R , ISO7761 , ISOW7841 , SN6501 Is the gate driver DRV8353R isolated or not? If not, What are the impacts of using it without isolation and how can we provide external protection or isolation…
Part Number: SN6501 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN6505A Hi Team,
My customer is surveying SN6501 and want to know if it can support 2 isolated output (Vout_1 and out_1 and Vout_2 are isolated). For his application, Vin is 5V, Vout_1 is 5V@100mA,…
Hi Christian, Christian Waechter said: we tested in the meantime and had no more failure during the surge impuls. We reduced the supply voltage of the SN6501 to 3.3 V and added a 3.9 V TVS diode (SMLVT3V3). In addition I added multiple filter elements,…

HI Team, Cusotmer design with USB VBUS and found there is noise from the 60Hz power supply. we provide SN6505 EVM for customer evaluation. SN6505 does eliminate the noise while customer were testing with some external audio equipment…
Colin-san,
Thanks for your suggestion.
My customer tried to use a clean power for VDD2 and removed SN6501 for reducing the noise from EVM. But the noise was not improved as below. What is the cause of this noise?

Part Number: SN6501 Hello,
We are using SN6501 with 750313769 transformer for generating an isolated power from 3.3V to 5V.
Input: 3.3V with its return connected Earth/Chassis
Output: 5V with its return floating (one of the 3-Ph voltages. 400Vrms with…
