Part Number: SN65176B Hi Experts,
referring to the tread: SN65176B: SN65176BDR - Interface forum - Interface - TI E2E support forums
I see that the discussed 2 different die topologies are valid.
I see another third different die topology for SN65176DBR…

End-customer returned a motor driver that has found the communication error of the RS485 with SN65176. as you can see the waveform in the attached file, when /RE pin is pulled low by MCU, the V _AB differential voltage is dropping…
Hi Lee,
Clemens is correct on his analysis.
When you are checking the three states, you are verifying that the input voltage is valid when the bus:
Communicates from A to B
Communicates from B to A
And when the bus is idle.
When you have these numbers…
Part Number: SN65176B Hi Experts,
Our customer see 2 different die topologies in 2 different batches of SN65176DBR, namely:
a. DC: Year 2020 WK 20 Rev F COO: MEXICO
b. DC: Year 2020 WK 02 Rev A COO: MEXICO

Part Number: SN65176B Hi Team,
This is Brandon, My customer is using the SN65176B as RS485 and during the test, we found there are overshoot and undershoot voltage on D-pin, the waveform is attached below:
From the waveform, we found that the undershoot…

Hi Team,
Is the ESD level of SN65176B is the same as SN75176B. I saw post describing the level for SN75176B.

Part Number: SN65176B Hello E2E,
Please let me know about capacitor between Vcc and GND. In the datasheet, that capacitor is 1.5-uF. However, the datasheet does not say that why. Our customer is using 0.1-uF cap between Vcc and GND, R-output has bounce…
Part Number: SN65176B Hello team,
Customer is considering to put pull-up, pull-down resistor at A and B pin to avoid coupled noise when the output is Hi-Z state.
Are there any concern to put the resistor ?
And are there any proposal of another devices…
Part Number: SN65176B Other Parts Discussed in Thread: THVD1520 Hi,
The recommended supply voltage for SN65176B is 4.75V to 5.25V. What will happen if the voltage is slightly lower than 4.75V for a short time?
