Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65HVD251-Q1 Hi Team
My customer is using SN65HVD251-Q1 for EV application, and the output shows dominant status when startup.
Change to NXP TJA1051 can solve this issue, so I'm wondering how's the output status when…
Part Number: SN65HVD251 Dear Specialists,
My customer is considering SN65HVD251 and SN65HVD251-Q1 due to the delivery trouble.
According to the product table of low power mode , there are difference between SN65HVD251 and SN65HVD251-Q1.
I think…
Part Number: TCAN1042-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65HVD251-Q1 , Hi Team,
During the test, the rising edge time is about 20~50ns (CAN rate: 500Kbit/s). CAR OEM requirement is 200-500ns.
could we change the CAN rising edge time?
Why the…
Hi Kevin,
I don't believe we have any CAN devices that operate at 2Mbsp without this feature. Some alternatives would be SN65HVD251-Q1 with 1Mbps or SN65HVD230 as a 3.3V option, also 1Mbps.
Though Dominant timeout is considered an optional feature…
Part Number: TCAN1044A-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65HVD251 Hello guys,
One of my customers uses PCA82C251T(NXP) for their mass-production.
I recommended them to use SN65HVD251DR(TI Industrial CAN Bus Transceiver ) instead of PCA82C251T…

Peter,
Maybe there is a chance that the 48 V supply is appearing on CANH/CANL? Yes, a higher bus fault device like TCAN1044A-Q1 should be able to handle this. Do you use the R S pin (pin 8) of the SN65HVD251? I would recommend looking at TCAN1044A-Q1…
Part Number: TCAN1043A-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN65HVD251 Hi team,
My customer has a project which needs SPLIT pin mandatory. I know modan TCAN devices do not require SPLIT pin but, this is requirement from car OEM.
External 2kohm resistor…
Brian,
In addition to Clemens's comment above, I noticed that the DU100 part number is listed as SN65HVD251. Is this the part that is being used, or is it the TCAN1044V?
Also, for DL100, please consider using the ESD2CAN24-Q1, which is upcoming in…
