I just remembered a quite universal problem solver: SN74CBTLV1G125 This bus switch (Ron <=15Ohms) can e.g. isolate the processor pins from external signals when being disabled or un-powered with an Ioff specification of 10µA. I just checked it in the…

Hi Hari, The system calculations and your explanation are clear. I agree with how the numbers are derived and they provide a dynamic understanding of the parameters you are designing. Thank you for the documents. Regarding the switching sensing system…

It would appear that our digital bus switch selection guide isn't correct. The CB3T family will not perfectly follow a 3.3V input with a 3.3V Vcc. A pin-to-pin replacement that supports rail-to-rail throughput is the SN74CBTLV1G125. You can see here…

y.i , CBT devices doesn't have Ioff protection feature in them to have isolation during power off. The CBTLV /CB3Q family of devices have Ioff protection circuitry and they can tolerate inputs on their input ports when Vcc is 0V. Could you consider…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74CBTLV1G125 Hi all, We need to mux incoming two fast signal with tiny components. ___2G157 part seems to be ok but they have max. 4ns propagation delay. So I wonder if can two SN74CBTLV1G125 be used as figure below. This…

Hi Bob Unfortunately this device will not allow you to go above Vcc. You might take a look at this part. It has the Ioff feature that would allow this. http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/sn74cbtlv1g125.pdf
