Hi Rich,
I'll check what could be the source of this noise and share further comments early next week.

Part Number: TAS2555
We are finding that the TAS2555TAS2555_REG__WCLK1_GPIO2 (0,1, 0x3e) register is reading back a value of 0x00 which corresponds to "0 0000: Disabled (Input and Output buffers powered down)".
The datasheet reports that the…
Hi Brad,
Not sure if you identified the cause of this but just closing up on this thread, I verified there is not a noise gate in this device, so the outputs should be switching with a low duty cycle when idle. There may be some reason that the device…
Part Number: TAS2555 Hello
I am trying to increase my output amplitude but my output waveform is clipping. I have included an image of the desired waveform (green waveform) with Speaker Control register setting of 0x3C but if I increase above 0x3C (like…
Hi Kurt,
At least WCLK and BCLK should come form the same source, these two clocks should be direct multiples and synced, as each bit (BCLK) is sampled within a word (WCLK). In any case, if there's a change in clocks, you must make sure that the ratio between…
Part Number: TAS2555 Hi TI,
We recently ordered and received a TAS2555YFEVM. I also downloaded and installed PurePath Console with the TAS2555 plugin.
I've applied power to the board and connected via USB. The device enumerates correctly as a Device…
Part Number: TAS2557 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS2555 , Due to availability, my customer is interested in moving from the TAS2555 to the TAS2557. From a hardware perspective, they grounded the IN_P and IN_M lines on the TAS2555, but the TAS2557…
Part Number: TAS2555 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS2770 , TAS5722L Hi Team,
A customer will build a musical alarm clock and TAS2555 amplifier in conjunction with TEBM28C10-4/A speaker. He is worried that it won't have enough power for this application…
Part Number: TAS2555 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS2557 , , TAS2559 Hi,
We have a product with a TAS2555 that is going into production immediately. We cannot find stock. A very quick look seems to suggest that we could drop in a TAS2557 or TAS2559…
Cody,
I've got confirmation that data sheet plots use LSR board (aka D2S filter). This is used for THD measurement on TAS2555/57/59/60, however D2S filter requirement is only for measurement and doesn't mean acoustic THD is affected.
Best regards…
