Hi Knud,
When you test the TAS5086+TAS5142 EVM which cfg file did you load? Did you see any USB I2C error reported on the GUI? TAS5086-PG1.2-Factory-Trim cfg file should be loaded to initialize the device (File-> Load->Config File).
