Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5342LA Hi
We have question of TAS5342LA.
We are going to use this device with BD, but according to datasheet, TAS5342LA had been tested with AD modulation. Also, the reference schematic is described in AD.
1. Where can…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5342LA , TAS5132 , TAS5342 Hi
We are about to evaluate TAS5342LA and TAS5132 using EVM.
So, we have following questions.
1. We found TAS5342LDDV6 EVM but it seems TAS5342LA is not mounted on the board.
To evaluate TAS5342LA…
Hi
We want to know the MAX current according to OC-adjust register value 27kOhm.
Because we can refer 27kOhm as OC-adjust register value from typical application schematics on the datasheet.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5342LA Hi
We want to know the state of the following pins of the TAS5342LA when PWM activity detector is active.
Do you have a solution?
1. SD/OTW pin
2. Output pins
3. When PWM signal is lost and then recovered, how…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5612LA , TAS5342LA Customer study using same DSP (BD mode) input to TAS5612LA, then switch to TAS5342LA with the same DSP PWM output, the level is lower by 7dB.
Both TAS5612LA and TAS5342LA are used in BTL mode.
DSP (BD…

Could you please tell me the difference between TAS5342A and TAS5342LA? Thanks.
Hi Sven,
Earlier engagement is always better then being too late!
You mentioned that there's limited space on the board but you chose a pad-up device that will require a heatsink. Is choosing a device with a heatsink ok for your application or would you…
Miranda,
The TAS5342LA1 device is the older revision, sold as TAS5342L. It has been replaced by the same device but newer version TAS5342LA, denoted by the TAS5342LA3 marking.
