Part Number: TAS5601 Hi there, I want to use the TAS5601 with a modulator in a FPGA. However - I want to use higher switching frequencies than the max. specified 400 kHz in the datasheet. Is this a problem? (e.g. internal logic will recognize and…

Part Number: TAS5601 Hi, I'm evaluating the TAS5601 for a future product. I'm looking at the datasheet and do not see a power output vs supply voltage for a single ended configuration. I am specifically looking for data on the power output at THD+N…

Hi Matt, May I ask you following questions ? 1. Please advise us recommended LC filter value in PBTL configuration. Our customer use 4 ohm speaker. Are they same as BTL filter value, 4 ohm/10uH/1500nF described in the TAS5601 datasheet P14? 2…

Hi Diego, May I ask you one more question? Our customer has a following concern. They understand that they should use XOR to minimize PWM skew creating through the external logic. From a PWM accuracy view point, are there any concerns about creating skew…

Karl, Don is correct that inductor saturation is a likely cause of the problem. The inductor in our EVM, Toko 11RHBP 22uH, is rated at 2.7A for DC current and saturation. So it is possible that your 1.3A inductor is saturating. When TAS5601 shuts down…
