Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5614LA Hi Engineers,
I would like to confirm TAS5614LA ramp down time after reset.
Simply because I tried to force reset on TAS5614LA EVM and the result is just 18ms against spec 200ms (CSTART : 100nF). See the attached…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5614LA Hi,
When TAS5614LA configures as mode [3:1] = 001 (1N+1/2xBTL/AD mode), how do I treat unused input pin such as INPUTB and INPUTD?
i.g. connect to GND via pull down resistor approx. 47kohm and so on...
Regards…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5614LA , TAS5624A Hi,
I'm working to drive TAS5614LA as BTL 3ohm and found adding shottky diode (CR1-CR4) on each OUTPUT pins in TAS5614LA EVK's schematic below.
Could you tell me the reason why these shottky diode…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5614LA Hi
Could you tell me TAS5614LA fixed gain and tolerance in BTL mode?
Simply because there is no fixed value on datasheet, just say "fixed".
Thank you,
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5614LA Hi,
I would like to confirm noise test condition for TAS5614LA.
Vn and SNR test condition defines A-weighted, AES17 measureing filter in 6.6 Audio Specification Stereo (BTL) on page7.
But we can not set A-weighted…
Hi user4292685,
"CBC" stands for "Cycle By Cycle" current limit. It means that the TAS5614LA is constantly monitoring the output current as it switches, and will essentially clip the outputs when the load tries to draw more than the overcurrent limit…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5614LA Hi Engineer,
I would like to know how to connect thermal PAD for TAS5614LA.
It's thermal PAD is on the TOP of package, but they seems like connecting to grounded heatsink electrically according to datasheet p4…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5614LA , TAS5624A Hi,
Our customers would like to know the difference of TAS5614LA and TAS5624A. We believe that this difference is only RDSon physically as below. Therefore, the idle power and the efficiency also are different…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5614LA Hi,
I understand from datasheet that the overcurrent limit (Ioc) for TAS5614LA is 15A (based on ROC=24Ohm). Could you advise what would be the Ioc under the following condition:
- ROC = 30Ohm
- Configuration …
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5614LA Hi,
We have evaluated the gain of the BTL mode by using TAS5614LDDVEVM, this result is shown as below. Is it correct? In addition, could you please tell us an expected value of that design?
<Evaluation Result of…
