Wayne,
Please write 0x19 as 0x35 when 0x25 is set to 0x01 10 32 45. This should fix the issue.
Likewise, write 0x19 as 0x3A when 0x25 is set to 0x01 01 23 45.
It seems we forgot to add the line about the Shut Down group register 0x19 in the TAS5731M…
Hi Jeff and Alex,
Thanks for your reply.
If TAS5721 or TAS5731M can support SE mode, would you provide a reference schematic?
Can TAS5721 or TAS5731M be replaced TAS5717 for pin to pin?
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5731M , TAS5754M Please let me know about full scale range (Vrms) of Analog Audio Out (DAC Out).
Or, TAS5731M's full scale range formula is found below E2E forum, is TAS5754M same below formula?
Best regards…
Hi, Darren,
Sorry for the delay. Both devices supports 16-bit operation, so if the I²S source only sends 16 bits of data I would recommend to configure the TAS5731M in 16-bit operation. The 0xFF data will be interpreted as mute.
About the SNR, please…
Hi, Wayne,
It seems the plots you are attaching corresponds to the TAS5731, I would recommend you to suggest using the TAS5731M instead, this device is improved for operation at higher PVDD and has a more robust power stage. Also, the plots from the…
Hi Leen,
Thanks for your update. Unfortunately the controlling of SDZ and PDN pin on the PPCMB is open to users. But I think you can still read/write the AMP registers by I2C from MCU. Rev G PPCMB is almost the same as Rev F, so you can still use this…
Part Number: PCM1808 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5731M , TLV320AIC3105 , PCM1860 Hello.
I think to use PCM1808 to convert analog output, from TLV320AIC3105, to I2S input of TAS5731M.
I have available 3.3V for Digital Supply and 3.0V(low noise…
Hi Bruce,
So you want a digital input class-d amp to support
1. PBTL mode
2. The digital processing is not needed
3. Outputs 10W on 8Ohm load with 12V PVDD
Is my understanding correct? We have a lot of the device can do this: TAS5731M, TAS75711,…
Hi Fai,
Welcome to E2E, Thanks for your interest in our products!.
The TAS5711 and TAS5731M are SW compatible so you can load your configurations from the TAS5711 to the TAS5731M. The TAS5731EVM comes populated with the TAS5731M.
Best Regards, …
Hi Karsten,
For our mid-power class-d audio amplifier, TAS5711/TAS5731M/TAS5721 support 2.1 mode. And they can output as much as 2*20W~2*30W output powe. Programmable BQ's are also available on them.
Best regards,
