RE: ADC12D1800: What is the best measurement setup to introduce bandwidth mismatch spurs in the ADC12D1800 DES mode?

Hi Yang, Sorry there is not a good way to test this you will have top provide 2 differential signal externally probably from the same source with same length/phase matched cables. Regards, Neeraj

RE: ADC12D1620QML-SP: Measured ENOB Much Lower Than Data Sheet at Higher Frequencies

Hi Scott Based on your FFT results and my testing it looks like your performance is being limited by HD2 (folds to 320 MHz) and the Fs/2-HD2 (1280 - 320=960 MHz). In my testing I am not able to get the standard interleaving spurs (Fs/2-Fin, Fs/4+Fin...

    RE: ADC12D1800RF: Second Nyquist image

Hi Dan Here is some preliminary data. I am using the ADC12D1600RFRB evaluation board, with external clock at 1150 MHz, so Fs is 2300MSPS. Fin is at 1797.77MHz adjusted to around -0.5dBFS. I did a first measurement in DESI mode using a lab quality balun...

Using the "TC1 DESIQ Single Balun Board" in the reverse direction

    TI Thinks Resolved
The description here says that "It takes a single-ended signal (SMA input) and can drive the I+, I-, Q+ and Q- inputs ...". I was wondering if this can be used in the reverse direction i.e. given the four I+, I-, Q+ and Q- as inputs, get the...

RE: confirm ADC chips embedded on ADC0XD1520RB could not be powered up and look for possible solutions

Hi Jim, Thank you very much for your reply. To order proper peripheral devices cooperating with ADC0XD1520RF (using ADC08D1520), i would like confirm two points with you. 1. Whether we need external clock and clock trigger port need to be DC-blocked...

RE: ADC-D1800RF mode for chirp from 1.1 to 1.8 GHz

Hi Gregory, You can also use DESIQ Mode which is easier to drive than DESCLKIQ Mode and is recommended for your application; see the attached report for additional information about driving modes of the GSPS ADC. 5722.TI GSPS ADC Driving for High...

RE: ADC12D1800RFRB - WaveVision shows the sampling frequency in FFT

Hi Juri, Thanks for including the screen shot; this makes the issue much easier to debug. From this, I can see that you are in DESCLKIQ Mode with the ADC12D1800RFRB. There are two things which are likely a problem with the setup: 1. It is not possible...
