Dear Furkan,
In principle most of the features are covered by the TIDA-00233 circuit. However in your case I would tend to use the circuitry more like in our TIDA-01552 reference design: https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-01552 .
You need to change the power…
Part Number: TIDA-00233 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5069 Can we use this Part TIDA-00233 to Power supply channel of 30V,6A from reverse power?? We also have other application, that we need to control power supply voltage with analog input with resolution…
Part Number: LM5069 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00233 , , TPS2660 , LM5050-1 , LM74700-Q1 Hi
I refer TIDA-00233.
I want to see circuit behavior under negative input.
(Especially, confirming a state that the input can not reach output side.)

Hello Yue Tang,
The schematic does not show any TVS diode at the input to take the surge energy. The 1.2kV is lot of energy and a TVS rated at 5000W or more would be required. Thus, voltage rating of the LM5050 would have exceeded during surge testing…
Part Number: LM5069 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00233 , , TPS2660 Hi
The customer is requesting,
- Reverse current protection
- Reverse voltage protection (-30V)
- Protect inrush current (hot swap) support
So he is interested in SNVA683.

Hi Bryan,
Your image attachments are missing. Can you please re-post them.
From your understanding, it looks like the problem is due to reverse current blocking. The configuration in Figure 41 blocks reverse current only when the controller is OFF. To…
Hi
For surge testing requirements as per IEC IEC61000-4-5, please refer to TI Design using LM5050 and LM5069 " www.ti.com/.../TIDA-00233".
This TI design features Surge protection (IEC61000-4-5), Short circuit protection, Over and under voltage…
Hello Pial,
LM5060 can drive back-back FETs but can not do reverse current blocking.
Please refer to the TI Design " www.ti.com/.../TIDA-00233"
and the design guide.

This uses LM5069 and LM5050, let us know if you have…
Hi Richard,
Difference between LM5050-1 and LM74700 is that LM74700 has a better gate current to drive bigger MOSFETs for high current applications.
LM5050-1 can do the job, except that turn on time is slow due to lesser gate current strength. Slow…
Hi Sulyn,
The LM5050 unfortunately, cannot be used with back-back FETs. The reason is because:
1. There is an internal zener diode clamp from IN to GATE. So charge will make its way to the GATE and keep the MOSFETs on.
2. The LM5050 pulls GATE to IN rather…
