Part Number: TIDA-00284 Hi,
We are planning to use the reference design for our application of solenoid pump.
Is the design suitable for passing CE certification (especially conducted emissions) or should additional components be added?
Part Number: TIDA-00284 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00289 , , TIDA-01250 Hello,
Application in our company's machines require a section of solenoids which are pushing an object against the transportation band during certain process (up to 80-90…
Part Number: TIDA-00289 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00284 Hi,
I need to design a plunger movement detection for elevator brakes in which the DC voltage used to excite the coil is always unfiltered DC and comes directly from a bridge rectifier…
Cohen,
DRV8847S is not a DC/DC converter. It doesn't supply 6V or 12V. So, you still need a 6V or 12V DC/DC or AC/DC supply to provide 6V or 12V to DRV8847S circuit to drive the solenoid.
With google search, we can find several solenoid reference…
Part Number: DRV110 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00284 , What are the specifications to be kept in mind while designing a solenoid which is to be used with DRV110 to achieve target current consumption?
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV110 , TIDA-00284 , TIDA-00289 Hello,
I have a question for TIDA-00284 Reference Design with DRV110.
As my understanding, the resistor connected to HOLD pin of DRV110 used to set I HOLD current, and the equation is 150mV…
Hello Arno,
I'm glad to hear you had success with operating the DRV110 at 12V.
You can definitely power the DRV110 from rectified 230V. Our reference design TIDA-00284 does just that. As you suggest, you will need to choose a different MOSFET for…
Hello Masumi,
I'm happy your customer is considering the DRV110 or DRV120.
I have seen the DRV110 used in various switching applications for AC and DC magnetic switches and relays. The DRV110EVM is configured to support evaluation in AC systems…
