Part Number: TIDA-00443 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28180 Hi,
This is kalyan. we are currently working on the TIDA00443 PFC circuit for charger application.
In fixed boost mode we are facing some issues related to input AC current,
for the…
Part Number: TIDA-00443 sir/madam,
we are currently testing the TIDA-00443 PFC circuit for charger application. we followed the test procedure in the data sheet. But in real time application we cannot apply the power through auto transformer. 230V AC…
Part Number: TIDA-00443 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28180 hi,
we are currently using the 900W pfc using the UCC28180 driver.
The mosfet used in this circuit (IPP60R190P6/ 600V,20.2A) is currently not available. can you suggest me a equivalent…
Part Number: TIDA-00443 Hi
With reference to TIDA-00443 design, pls clarify the below
1. Can this PFC be connected in parallel ? Both input and output ... say 3 900 W PFC to get 2.7 kW ?
2. In the test results given in the reference design,…
Part Number: TIDA-00443 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28180 Hi
We have made a proto based on TIDA-00443, In this design the Vsense equals 4.99 V for a output voltage of 391 V.
What shd be the Vsense value in the boost follower mode. I guess…
Part Number: TIDA-00443 Hi
We have done a 900 W PFC based on TIDA-00443 design. It's working fine in both constant output and boost follower mode.
we use a incandescent lamps as the load of the PFC for testing. However when we increase the load…
Part Number: TIDA-00443 Currently am trying to do the PFC circuit and I have few queries here about the design (TIDA-00443)
Why diode D-2 is used across the inductor?
Resistor R-3 (1.05ohm ) is not available can I use 1.1 ohm instead of that?
…
Part Number: TIDA-00443 Hi ,
I wanted to fabricate (pcb ) this refference design for testing. i have some doubt about the gerber file, in gerber file i observed that drill file and tool list are missing
Please find the reffernce design link:

Part Number: TIDA-00443
Hi,
1. may we check what is the application for AC sense from the reference schematic on page 38?
2. also on the reference schematic, PFC_ON, what's the highest voltage it can withstand? is it ok if voltage greater than…
Hello Lenin,
This reference design was designed to provide an output voltage of between 250Vdc and 350Vdc so if you are getting over 600Vdc output there is something not quite right in the circuit.
I would disconnect the boost follower section (Q4 in…
