Hello Hector,
I think you have the wrong device tagged. The TMCS1126 is for current sensing. The tag is used to guide the question to the correct engineers at TI. Are you looking for position sensing and rotary encoders? Let me know if these make sense…
Part Number: TIDA-00480 Dear TI Expert,
I was looking at the promo video of TIDA-00480 at http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00480?DCMP=halls&HQS=HallEncoder#supportandcommunity
Could you please tell me how TI quantifies this parameter "Latency"? or please…
Part Number: LDC0851 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00480 I need to use LDC0851 to construct a Odometer. I have checked the release notes of its usage in Incremental Rotary Design and TIDA-00480. It's specification matches my requirements. The…
Part Number: DRV5012 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00480 dear colleagues,
one of my account would design new thermostat using our hall effect sensor solution. They identified drv5012 as good fit.
Customer questions list:
1) Do we have alternative…
Ok it sounds like you only have a 2-pole magnet. For reference you can look at this design which used a 66-pole magnet: http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00480
The DRV5012 can measure much faster than 2000 RPM using a 2-pole magnet.
Best regards, RE
Part Number: DRV8873-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8702-Q1 , DRV8703-Q1 , TIDA-01389 , TIDA-00480 Dear *,
I have a DC motor with specification:
Voltage rating :12V
No load current <= 3A
Load Rating <= 7A
Locked current <=20A
1) Do TI have…
Hello Charles,
Thank you for using the TI forum. A helpful resource for you is one of our FAQ posts about Hall Effect Sensors, which can be found at: e2e.ti.com/.../355909
We do not have specific recommended magnets, but the above FAQ post has a list…
Wisam, you're right that getting the sensors 90 degrees out of phase (1/4th of a cycle) is ideal, but really any phase separation will work, as long as the MCU can see each 2-bit state. 90 degrees gives the most margin for any mismatch.
Also, they…
Hi Saagar,
another example with an MSP430G2553-Q1 automotive qualified MSP430 would be this one
The application code and all the design data is also available on that page. The automotive qualified MSP is completely compatible with the MSP430G2553 catalog…
