Hi Dhruvit We do not have one IC that will incorporate all the functions but have a couple of reference designs that show how multiple IC could be used to possibly meet your needs. TIDA-00712 - Smartwatch Battery Management Solution, here TIDA-00668…

Hello Sorry you are having problems with the TIDA. The BQ51003 BGA layouts will use VIPPO for interior connections. The BQ51003 is only available in BGA but the BQ51013B is a similar device, 1A vs 500mA output and has a QFN option. Also is the TIDA…

My recommendation is to not use a PCB coil. If you do make provisions for a standard coil and have some on hand. See TIDA-00668 for ref info. Also take a look at the coils used on the EVMs and TIDA.

Hi Bill, I follow reference design TIDA-0031, PMP11311 & TIDA-00668 On these 3 designs, all vias on BQ51003 are on pad, tenting on bottom side, hole size 0.152mm and diameter =0.254mm Do you think I can design with a PCB thickness of 0.8mm, with…

Francesco, PCB coils have been used, but in general tend to be lower efficiency. TIDA-00668 is an example of a booster pack made with the bq51003 using a PCB coil. Compare it to TIDA-00881 which uses a traditional coil. The TIDA-00415 uses a 20mm…
