Part Number: TIDA-00762 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ500511 , BQ500511A Hello, I'm wondering about how the TIDA-00762 use its component, I mean, the BQ500511 is already programmed and how it has to be set? Especially I would like to know how the…
If your are changing both RX and TX coil a different set of rules apply, this would be a custom, non-Qi solutions. The RX and TX would only be used together.
For TX coil tuning the L & C would be tuned for 100kHz, (bq500212A) L of 6.3uH and C of 400nF…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00762 , TIDA-00623 , BQ50002 , BQ500511 Hello,
I come again for your help.
After some research, I decided to use tida-00623(5W) or tida-00762(1W).
tida-00762 use a 6.5 uH coil and I found that this coil should…
Hi!
Is there a way to order TIDA-00762 and TIDA-00415 , via farnell, conrad, digikey?
Can You supply me with a sample of it perhaps?
Thank you in advance,
Snezana
For the TX coil we only recommend 6.3uH +/-10% the wurth 760308102207 is 8uH. Wurth also makes a 30mm TX coil 760308101103, this has been used on TX Reference Design TIDA-00762 and others with good results.
Hello Yang Fan
Coil design can be difficult, I would recommend using off the shelf coils that are used on the EVM to start your evaluation. We have smaller coils that are used on TX ref designs TIDA-00762 and RX ref designs TIDA-00318. Also see FAQ section…
Hello Evagoras
When the TX coil is changed on the bq500212A solution the inductance value should stay at 6.3uH +/- 10%. The tuning capacitors should stay at 400nF.
Coil resistance needs to be low and litz wire should be used, See TIDA-00762.
Frederic,
Your are correct that the size ratio between the RX and TX is important. The coupling decreases as the RX:TX ration gets smaller.
The coil used on the TIDA-00762 is 760308101103 from Wurth Electronik. It is 6.5uH and 30mm in diameter.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ500212A , TIDA-00762 Hi, could some one tell me what is the IC pin or the concept to reduce the power tranfer with the BQ500212A. I analized TIDA-00334 to have 2w of power instead of 5W of EVB, but I didn't understand…
