Part Number: TIDA-010030 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76200
Hi, TI team
Where is V load_detected measured ? (Figure 12. MSP430 MCUTM Firmware Program Flow Chart of Design guide)
I know that V load_detected is measured at CHG pin of BQ7694003…
Part Number: TIDA-010030 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76940 , BQ76200 On page 16 of TIDA-010030 design guide (TIDUEG78.pdf), there is step "measure pack+' that I am not quite sure how to measure it with i2c reading.
I am assuming it is a register…

From the reference design of the battery management system given above. I found from the datasheet of the…
Hi Eric,
Thanks for reaching out. As you noticed, MCU used in TIDA-010030 doesn't has CAN controller. So you either need to simulate CAN communication with GPIO or change another MCU, like TI C2000.
TIDA-010030 code is not available. It is more to…
Part Number: TIDA-010030 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ34Z100-G1 , BQSTUDIO Hello TI team and everyone.
I examined TIDA-010030 and can I ask one question. Actually I wanna be sure. Is P1 connector need a jumper after bqStudio programming BQ34Z100…
Part Number: TIDA-010030 Hello forum
I am reviewing TIDA-010030 design files. In "tidueg7b" document there is a calculation for Rsense resistor as normally. But in this design's schematic files there are two same Resistor at this line. Is it an backup…
Part Number: TIDA-010030 Does TIDA-010030 feature reverse polarity protection for a 48V battery pack inserted in reverse? It appears it does, but the implementation is different than is noted in Application Note SLUA796.
Part Number: TIDA-010030 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76940 , BQ34Z100 , BQ34Z100-G1 Hello forum,
I am reviewing TIDA-010030 design. I want to customize this design parameters for me. Want to increase current ratings for example IDSCH: 80 ~90…
Part Number: TIDA-010030 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76940
I tried to power up the board without installing the batteries. With pack+ 38V, I saw voltage on right side of C18 is 38-18=20V, but left side is 0v, meaning Cell13=0V. C1 is also 0v…
Part Number: TIDA-010030 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76940 , , BQ34Z100-G1 I am designing a BMS for a 12s stack, very similar to TIDA-010030 reference design, but when it came to the sense resistor selection, I ran into some trouble. So naturally…
