Dear *,
we are designing 10Gbps PoE PSE Injector, so we have a RJ45 data in connector and we want to protect this port.
Q1)
Would you…
Part Number: TIDA-01411 Hi Team,
We are planning to use the same set of components from the reference design to design a Gigabit Ethernet switch with PoE.
Please confirm whether the components used in the reference design support Gigabit Ethernet

I would like to know that is the four-port PSE needs to pass the unsymmetrically operated lines Level?
Because I don't know MDI signals with 54V and GND belong to unsymmetrically, symmetrically operate lines.
Part Number: TIDA-01411 I need to implement the IEC61000-4-5 ( Common mode : 2kV, normal mode : 1kV) surge protection to my PoE PD
I will be looking at a level 4 protection range.
In TIDA-01411 reference design MOVs has been used for the surge protection
I…
Part Number: TIDA-01411 Pages 9, and 10. The design will fail compliance with the latest ITU-T K.20, K.21 and K.45 Recommendations. These require for the rated impulse voltage test that the post-test resistance shall be at least 2 MΩ when measured at…

there a numerus different design from TI on how to protect PSE mosfet, which one is the most recommended one?
1) No protection eg: PMP20588, TPS23861EVM…

Hello team,
my customer asked if there are guidelines for PoE PD outdoor surge protection at 8kV and 10kV
I found guidelines only for 4kV at Lightning Surge Considerations for PoE Powered…
Hey Jimmy,
For the TPS23751, I would switch to the next generation part - TPS23731. The TPS23731EVM-095 is a 48V to 5V design for 25W (note it is 25W at the input).
A higher power IC is needed for 30W at the output. I would suggest the TPS23730.
Can…
