Hello,
With Sensor Tag, the answer is no.
It is always in client mode connecting to the cloud via an AP.
There are other TI designs of gateways that you can check http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDC-BLE-TO-WIFI-IOT-GATEWAY
This is an older one based on…
Hi GGA,
For connecting TI MCUs to AWS IoT Core we have Amazon FreeRTOS from AWS for the CC3220SF WiFi MCU. We also have the SimpleLink SDK Plugin for AWS IoT available from TI for the CC32xx WiFi and MSP432E4 Ethernet MCU. The Plugin for AWS IoT is…
Part Number: CC3200 Hello
We have application where we would like to stream Video Camera data over wifi connection.
We understand that the Jacinta Processor might be our best option. However, we believe this would be costly for our application. We…
Vijay,
Unfortunatelly there is no Linux support for this TIDC as you already noticed.
You can use the other WiLink chipset if you wish and thus build it using Linux but it includes the WiFi layer only (i.e. no network stack included in the chip itself…
Thanks Rebel and YK for your inputs. I was able to find the TIDA-00484 reference design after I post the initial question. To follow up on the same subject, do you know if there is a reference design for a sub-GHz to WiFi bridge? I do see one for BLE…
Hi,
CC3220 is good SoC for your purpose. First thing you need to realise what resolution you need. CC3220 is "small" low-power WiFi SoC and from this reason you cannot use camera with high resolution (1080p, etc.).
Few examples (designs) for previous…
Hi Dorde,
I believe this is possible, but not easy and could be expensive. You would need a video encoder at the camera/CC3200 interface and a video decoder on the CC3200/display interface.
There's a TI design using the CC3200 for video/audio streaming…
Hi Sherin,
Please refer to the app notes on the Wifi Camera Application ( www.ti.com/.../TIDC-CC3200CAMBOOST).
Although the booster pack is not available for purchase, the schematics are available on this page.

Hi Pablo,
We have this TI Design, although not straight forward to implement:

processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Boosterpack_approach
A simpler solution is to use your phone as gateway.
Cheers,
