Part Number: EVM430-FR6043 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDM-02005 , MSP430FR6043 Greetings,
we opted for this board instead of the 6047 due to the on-board amplification possibility. Therefore, I don't want to cancel the AFE as suggested by TIDM-02005…
Hi Alberto,
Yes, "MSP430FR6007EVM_USS_Water_Demo" demo is used to communicate with GUI to evaluate USS perdormance, and this will be easy to test the USS function.
I think you can use this demo firstly, then delet HMI function inside this project…
Hi David,
You mentioned you would be willing to dig into your issue with the source code. Please understand the following: 1. The software is released on “as is where Is” basis and TI cannot accept any claims w.r.t performance parameters 2. …
In its default configuration, the measurement you are trying to perform will not work with the USS Design Center and 6043 EVM. It is setup to be a dual transducer system with a transmitter and receiver so it can measure the delta time of flight between…
Part Number: EVM430-FR6043 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDM-02005 Hello,
My customer is evaluating EVM430-FR6043 with water software.
They downloaded water software, MSP430FR6043EVM_USS_Water_Demo_LPM_02_40_00_00.txt , and modified the EVM as TIDM…
Hi Oba,
The schematics for TIDM-02003(gas meter TI design) show that the input to the SOC is single ended. The family user's guide give's specifics on the SDHS. There is an internal bias circuit and PGA which will further determine how the ADC counts…
Hi,
Please follow this app note for using MSP430FR6043 in water meter application. https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDM-02005
1.You might need to change the GUI mode to water meter
2, The Demo code is in this link. https://www.ti.com/tool/download/USS-SWLIB-WA…
Hi Koki,
I recommend that you use the FR6043 platform when evaluating lower frequency transducers with a sampling frequency of 1MHz for 200kHz and 2MHz for 500kHz as described in the documentation. You should reduce the gain of the external amplifier…
Hi Kostyantyn,
Typically, 1MHz transducers are used for water(not gas). If you are designing for water, I would recommend that you look at making the modifications described here instead:
