  • RE: double/dual 4-20 mA output with µController

Erik, DAC8775 releases tomorrow. XTR115 or the others in that family are good choices for integrated voltage-to-current converter solutions. I did forget to mention DAC161S997 in my previous post, this is basically a PWM DAC + XTR115. A dual-channel…

Hello Tarun, You can replace the OPA317 with the LM358 in the circuit featured in the reference design: TIPD158 As mentioned before, consider using the XTR117 which integrates many elements of the circuit featured in TIPD158 .

Hello Poch, Apologies with the delay of this response. I thought I had already answered a previous thread. Maybe the forum post didn't go through like I intended. Loop powered 4-20 mA transmitters are analogous to “2-wire transmitters” (ie. loop…

Hello Saif, 2-wire transmitter designs that must remain robust against radiated emissions must be properly filtered and protected or they will commonly experience issues such as the ones you're experiencing. You can set the cutoff filter of the low…

Hi Gerard, Thanks, the question makes more sense to me now. You're not asking for the connections to the MSP430 but rather the entire schematic. Right now we are working on stack development for Foundation Fieldbus which will in turn drive our submission…
