Hi Nathan,
Devices in the 75 family do not provide under-temperature alert. The TLOW behavior should be called hysteresis instead, because it only unlocks the alert after the THIGH was previously exceeded. Note Figure 7-10 in the TMP1075 datasheet shows…
Hello Scott,
We are currently working on updating the nest letter to include TMP119. This update will not happen for the next couple of weeks. How urgent do you need the TMP119 NIST letter?

Hi Dan,
If you are plugging in multiple EVMs, the software could easily be confused about which one it is connected to. Even so, the encoding for TMP117 is the same as TMP119 and couldn't produce a 2 degree error. It seems more likely that something about…

Hi!
I recently bought a TMP119EVM module. Is it possible to read out the module eg with Matlab? If I see correctly, it intergates as a HID. I'm of course not expecting…
Part Number: TMP119EVM Tool/software: Hi I have a TMP119EVM problem same as Dan. A platinum 4 wire RTD connected to Keithley DMM6500 reads 23.94 and the GUI 25.93 degC (2 deg high).
Thanks for your help,
Greg

Hello Fabio,
TI can only guarantee the accuracy within the datasheet. For VQFN package, we can guarantee an accuracy of a max -0.75C and a min 0.75C. What accuracy are you trying to achieve? One of our highest accuracy temperature sensor is TMP119 (a…
Part Number: LM35 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP117 , TMP119 Tool/software: Hi,
I want to use this part LM35DMX/NOPB (1C high voltage analog temperature sensor, 10 mV/C). But I am bit new on sensors.
May I know the list of test plans required to qualify…
Tlow acts as a hysteresis for the ALERT output. Tlow is not an under-temperature alarm. If you need an under-temperature alarm, this can be called a window comparator. On the TMP116, TMP117 and TMP119, the ALERT functions as a window comparator.
thanks…
Hello Dennis,
Understood. We currently don't have any data available comparing the response times for these packages (specifically for the 117). That being said, since the BGA is a smaller package, it will have a lower thermal mass, hence a better…
