The TMP709 does not include a trip test functionality. You may want to also consider the TMP390, which includes a trip test option for testing during manufacturing.

We do not have the thermal data for the TMP1075 in SOT package, but you could reference the TMP390 which is also in the same package. The TMP1075 will be similar.
