I have not been able to program this chip successfully but I'm not sure if it is because of the JTAG Emulator itself, or if it's because of the connecting cables. We tested the parallel cables that connect the emulator to the PC and they seem fine. Can someone help me try to figure out what the next step to try would be when getting these error messages?

The driver of the TMS320LF2406APZ is abnormal, and the software cannot detect the burner.
The software used is BPWin5.8.0, and the software can only enter the DEMO mode if the burner cannot be retrieved.

I' am looking for the Code Composer Studio V3.3. Is it still available? If so, where can I find it?
I have to program TMS320LF2406APZA using JTAG interface and ICSP method. (Please note that there was no such IC in the list when I wrote this topic.)
I know that it is quite old IC but I have no any other possibility for changing it for that moment.

Regarding the TMS 320LF2406APZA, I would like to know how best to resolve an issue I am having because of MOSFET Ringing, one of our DSPs on a board is being Reset.
Is there a programming option that would allow a Reset only after a defined delay, say 1 ms for example ? Or require the Reset line to stay in the active [ Reset ] state for a defined period of time before it was accepted?
I am trying to prevent a Hardware and / or an Etch change and, prevent intermittent field faults by changing software instead ?

I want to buy a program tool for this IC.
Must be within ISP, because i have clean/fresh IC's on the PCBA already mounted- so dont want read, copy anything, only load software inside by JTAG.
Had found C2000 GANG for that, but they are cooperate with TMS320F28... i need for IC,s F24, and dont know what should buy.
On TI side is only one offert of this C2000 Device, and dont cooperated with F24 also- what/from where should buy what i need?

I tried version 3.3.83.20, but it does not work. I got the error message “cannot run dspcl”. The following forum contribution deals about this error message:
In the answer is written:
There was a build of 3.3.83.19 that included F24x: C2000_Code_Composer_Studio_v3.3.83.19_full.zip
The most common one in use would be the older 3.3.38.2
I also use the TMS320LF2406A like the guy who wrote the forum contribution. Could you provide me these versions for a short test?

Hi team,
I have a question from a customer that I believe you are better equipped to answer than me:
"I have some maintenance for an older TMS320FL2406A. We had purchased as CCS 3 way back when (from the ‘241 days!).
I just installed a virtual XP Pro (under hyper V) to allow installing the CCS3 under a compatible environment (complete with proper windows license verification!).
Does the new universal license for the older CCS work this far back?
If not, is it possible to get a license for that version reissued. The newer versions have eliminated the old chips from support. The old PC that I used in the day has since well died!"

1. Does the IC have to use CCS3.1-CCS3.3 to program?
2. Does the IC have requirements for the programmer version? Does XDS100 series can be used?
3. Whether CCS3.1-CCS3.3 can only be installed in XP systems?
4. Are there any other simple ways to program this IC?
