Hi William,
Being this a long developed tool, unfortunately there are not much things to change. We're also following up on this thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/audio-group/audio/f/audio-forum/1136334/tpa2016d2-the-driver-of-tpa2016d2evm/421758…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA2016D2 HI:
I am using the TPA2016D2. I have met a problem: The volume will automatically change from small to big when I am using the TPA2016, and I don't change the amplifier gain during using it. Why??
I want…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA2016D2 , TPA2026D2 Hello, I'm using the TPA2016D2 in a product we're about to release and would like some advice on AGC register settings.
The effect of the default settings are that when the amplifier is powered…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA2016D2 , PCM2906C Hello,
I'm looking at using these components for a stereo USB speaker device and I wanted to see your feedback on output levels of the system and SNR with chosing these two components.
Thanks! …
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA2016D2 , TPA2026D2 , TPA2012D2 , TPA6130A2 Hello Everyone!
I would like to use the TPA2016D2 as a normal amplifier with volume control adjustable from -28dB to 30dB. Input voltage is approximately 1mVp-p.
Is this possible…
Hi Jack,
6dB is the fixed "normal" gain. This is the gain you'll get most of the time form the amplifier. Max gain is the limit it will reach when AGC attacks, this would be the steep ramp from figure 2 on data sheet,
If you have I2C control…
Hi
Most of newer devices are BGA package, although not high pin count if layout is the concern. You may consider TPA2018D1 / TPA2028D1. TPA2016D2 is similar, in QFN package option but it's stereo.
Other options would have both analog and digital inputs…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA2016D2 Hi,
I'm using TPA2016D2 stereo 1.7W/8ohms class-D amplifier in QFN20 package. My question is : Can I connect the thermal pad of this device to the ground plane ?
There's no information like "The thermal…
