Part Number: TPA2080D1 Dear TI Team.
I would like to hear the advice of TPA2080D1 because of POP noise during TEST.
Please refer to the following circuit.
Due to Fixed Gain, we have to reduce the input and add the resistor as above.
POP noise…
Part Number: TPA2080D1 Hello,
What would happen if the switching inductor (2.2uH in the application schematic of the datasheet, fig 24) were to fail or if it was not soldered at all? Would the TPA2080 be in an unstable state with potentially a high…
Hi Chun,
I noticed this device has 20dB fixed gain. I did the test with the conditions required, but I got an output voltage of 3.8Vrms with an input voltage of 400mVrms. The voltage gain has a range around 19.5dB to 20.5dB.
Best Regards
José Luis…
Part Number: TPA2080D1 Hi Team,
attached is the TPA2080D1 application schematic, can you please help to check if anything wrong or any concerns? Thanks.
Regards,
Arthur
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA2080D1 Hi Team,
customer platform is based on Qualcomm PM8952 and they adopted the TPA2080D1 to drive the speaker, attached is their TPA2080D1 schematic, they want to check with BU to see if any design concerns…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA2080D1 Hi Team
We are looking for low thickness for the power inductor (2.2uH) for TPA2080D1
What is the max current of inductor(2.2uH) ? 700mA ?
SPEC page 5 have show IBOOST = 700 mA
[ TPA2080D1 ] Current Limit
Hi,
IL (average inductor current) has three different current limit specifications as table below. Can you help me to understand the difference? Specially, " Boost converter starts up from full shutdown, 600mA " and " Boost…
Hi, Ben,
this is intended for cell phone applications where a receiver output is used to drive the inputs of the TPA2080D1. If the TPA2080D1 is disabled, this shows the inputs will not clip the signal being driver into the receiver.
2) No, as long…
Part Number: TPA2080D1 SCH-WSS_BM20L-V02.pdf TPA2080D amplifier problems are as follows: 1, when the volume is up to the maximum, the distortion is relatively large 2. When the volume is up to the maximum, the IC works very hot 3. When the volume is up…
