Part Number: TPA3220EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA3220 , , TPA3251EVM , TPA3245 , TPA3221 Dear Sirs,
My customer asked us about voltage of FAULT pin for TPA3220.
Because the voltage of FAULT pin on board made by him is 5 V. Then he confirmed it with…
Part Number: TPA3220EVM-MICRO Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA3220 Hi,
I am having issues with the TPA3220 EVM MICRO. I set everything up according to the quick start instructions in the user guide, using 5 ohm resistors as a load. Connecting a signal…
Hi Kevin,
Is the customer actually putting a power supply with a voltage of 52V for this device? This device is rated for 32V!
Also the video you linked shows the TPA3255EVM not the TPA3220EVM.
Thanks,
Robert Clifton
Part Number: TPA3220 Hi Experts, My customer has question as follows. Would you answer them? 1. Customer measured a transient time of /CMUTE-pin while device started up. The datasheet mentioned that it is about 20ms, but the measurement result is 4~5ms…
Hi Bradley,
You can use a resistor divider for the 30V to 5V as long as you make sure that if there's any voltage sag in the PVDD line it doesn't drop the 5V to be below the operating voltage of the device (4.5V minimum).
We actually have a resistor…
Hi Mark,
Here's the bandwidth results. I used the TPA3220 instead of the TPA3221 but that should be fine since they have the same bandwidth performances.
Test Conditions:
Output Power = 5W
Load = 8ohms
LC Filter = 5.6uH/ 0.1uF
Gain = 18dB.
TPA3220EVM…
Hi Anatoliy,
TPA3255EVM, TPA3251EVM, TPA3245EVM, TPA3244EVM, TPA3221EVM and TPA3220EVM are all compatible with the SideGig-Guitar Evaluation Module board!
The power supply would have to be one that you have however.
Hope this clarifies things.
Best Regards…
Hello Nick,
For the issue with the TPA3220EVM-Micro, there is a mistake in the Table 8 for the LDO Mode configuration, R14(the 5V to GVDD connector) says it should be populated. This is incorrect R14 should be removed and you will get the correct voltage…
