Part Number: TPA5051 Hello,
Does the TPA505x works at sampling frequency of 8 kHz ? the datasheet refers to 32 to 192 kHz but it is not 100% sure that 32 kHz is a minimum.
Thank you

Hi,
The pop noise was produced when muting on the customer's board in the audio stream. Of course, we understand that the pop noise might occur if writing "1" to the complete update registers in the audio stream without muting. Why was the…
Hi,
We understand the pop noise might occur if writing "1" to the complete update registers in the audio stream without muting.
So, could you please tell us how the audio data change if writing to the complete update registers ?
Is it fixed…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA5051 , TPA5050 Hi,
We have a question regarding the internal operating clock of TPA5050 and TPA5051. BCLK and LRCLK are supplied to these devices, we believe that these devices have the internal PLL. Which clock do these…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA5051 Hi,
We have a question regarding total bits of audio delay registers on the TPA5051. Although we found that there is described 13bits as audio delay registers on page 10 of the data sheet, our opinion is 12bits. …
Hi,
We have obtained a question from our customers. When the supply of BCLK and LRCLK is cut off, how does these devices behave? Could you please advise us about it?
Best Regards, Kato
Part Number: TLV320AIC3254 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA5051 Hi Team,
Our customer is looking for an audio DSP to finish delay function, will input 1 CH I2S and need 2CH I2S output of it. We notice AIC3254 have secondary I2S port function, could…
Part Number: TPA5051EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA5050 , , TPA5051 Hello expert,
Is it possible to use TPA5051EVM for TPA5050 evaluation?
My customer is looking for evaluation board of TPA5050.
Thanks and best regards,

Hi, na,
Effectively, the TPA5051 accepts the half of samples (4095). The difference in this case is the quantity of channels that it can accept. The TPA5051 accepts two serial audio inputs. So, it is a tradeoff between channels vs delay. The TPA5051…
Hi,
I verified that behavior and its repeatable. In fact I purchased a TPA5051 EVM. That chip also shows identical behavior. Here is sample thing to try.
Write 0x1f to register 0x2
Write 0xff to register 0x3
Read those registers back. Register 0x3 doesn…
