Part Number: TPS2501 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2505 Hello,
My customer is considering to replace TPS2501 with TPS2505 because of recent long LT.
Then they don’t need LDO and USB port 2 of TPS2505.
They would like to know how to terminate…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2501 , TPS2500 Hi,
My customer is now using TPS2501 for one portable speaker with power bank project.
For one cell battery, 3V-4.2V boost to 5V, at no load, the IC supply current could be 8-10mA.
I tested it on our EVM…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2501 Hi,
I can't complete understanding the Iq for TPS2501. VAUX is an output to USB pin. If the VAUX Iq is 380uA, the Vin Iq should be 665uA.
380uA*5.2V/90%/3.3=665.3uA, Vin Iq = 13uA+665.3uA=678uA. Am I right?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2501 Dear Sir
Good days,
From TPS2501 page 3, Vin Quiescent current maxium is 20uA, VAUX maxium Quiescent is 480uA.
May we check why Vaux Quiescent current is so high?
Best regards,
Bogey
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2501 Need some technical support on the TI TPS2501. We have our prototype on the lab bench and we’re having trouble in 2 areas. See attached schematic.
First , Rilim
the Rilim resistor is not functioning and we…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2501 I have a design using the TPS2501 and limiting USB charge current to 500 mA. Our design only uses 10 uF output capacitor, but I found several mentions that 120 uF minimum is required. We are somewhat space constrained…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2501 The TPS2501 datasheet says the FAULT output is asserted (low) when VUSB is below 4.6V. Does this include when the part is shutdown? If I set EN and ENUSB both low, so the boost converter is off and VAUX and VUSB…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61032 , TPS2501 , TPS2500 , TPS2061C Hi,
we will use TPS61032 for an USB socket. We have to provide some sort of overcurrent protection. What do you recommend for that?
thank you
