Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2540 , TPS2541 , TPS2541A , TPS2540A Hi!
I have a question concerning the SDP-mode of the TPS2540/TPS2541/TPS2540A/TPS2541A, assuming a device that does not support special charging protocols like divider mode etc.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2541 , TPS2540 Hello, I was hoping that somebody could help discuss the differences between the TPS2540 and the TPS2541.
Looking through the datasheet, there isn't an apparent difference that jumps out at me.

Hi Adam,
Thank you for the concise answer.
Is this true for the TPS2541 as well? (In SDP mode, the DATA+ and DATA- lines are passed through the device without altering the signals.)

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2541 , TUSB8040A Looking at adding a USB self powered hub to our embedded board design. The TUSB2046 is a nice part with a 2-layer reference design which is helpful. The USB2514 from SMSC/Microchip is also a low cost…
Thank you for the layout tip!
Might there be another SWIFT module you'd recommend as a better choice for 24V-to-5V step-down at 1.5A-1.8A continuous? It's for a Dedicated Charging Port for USB devices using the TPS2541. We selected the TPS5420 as a quick…
