Part Number: TPS26624-25EVM Dear,
Hello ! We use TPS26624-25EVM to design a circuit as shown in the figure below. The voltage input is 36V. It is found that the capacitor C20 occasionally burns out. I don’t know what caused it. May I ask if there…
Part Number: TPS26624-25EVM Hi,
I am testing the TPS26625 using development board TPS26624-25EVM, designed as below:
Target input voltage range: 4.5-27V; Input current limit: 98mA.
Here are the problems we met:
When the power supply is below 15V, the…
Part Number: TPS26624-25EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2662 Hi,
I am seeing that in the very first cycle after an overload condition, the current limit kicks in a bit slowly. This causes the current to rise much above the limit (in fact, the value…
Part Number: TPS26624-25EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2662 Absolute maximum value of junction temperature is the same as the thermal shutdown temperature value T_TSD. Will this cause permanent damage to device or deteriorate its performance if…
Part Number: TPS26624-25EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2662 1. In case of any failure or maloperation, does this IC fail as a short or open ?
2. Is this reliable as a replacement for fuse or is it meant only as an additional protection ?
Hi, In User Guide (slvuba5.pdf ), U1 = TPS26624( latch off), U2 = TPS26625( Auto retry). But, Customer test result was U1 = Auto retry, U2 = Latch off. DS is typo? Please see P7 Figure 3. "J4 = 1-2 Position, Current Limit (800 mA) and Auto-Retry"…
Hi George
TPS2662x EVM allows user to evaluate two out six orderable parts using one EVM. For example
1. TPS26620-23EVM has TPS26620 and TPS26623 and required configuration circuit for each device on one EVM.
2. TPS26624-25EVM has TPS26624 and TPS266…
Hello Mustafa,
You can refer to schematic in Figure 10 on Page 6 of Simplifying EFT, Surge and Power-Fail Protection Circuits in PLC Systems (Rev. C) . This schematic can be tested using TPS26624-25EVM or TPS26620-23EVM.
Let us know if you still face…
