Hello Tom,
This is a typo carried over from the TPS38700-Q1 family datasheet, please ignore the reference to the additional registers. We will fix this upon the next datasheet revision.

Hello Tom,
As i mentioned prior the safety concept here is that the sequence should be halted if an error occurs, such as a power supply not being correct. This way no other power supplies are enabled avoiding further harm to the system. In the case of…
Part Number: TPS38700 Hello,
I'm trying to get theTPS38700 running but so far we're finding that the sequence outputs just remain low and also the /RST output stays low. We had something that worked with the dev board so wondering if there's anything…
Part Number: TPS38700 Our TPS38700 design is getting into a FAILSAFE state when we try to power up (by taking ACT high) if we enable the CLK32 output . If we set an Enable to go high in slot 1 we can see it go high after ~10us, then go low again after…
Part Number: TPS38700 Hi,
I believe from the question about "TPS38700: Internal oscillator" the TPS38700 required a Xtal to use the sequencer?
Is it possible to know the the default value of the register 0x24 Oscillator configuration.
Bit 7: XTAL_LOAD…
Part Number: TPS38700 Hi,
My customer is considering using the TPS38700. But They are wondering if it's possible to write to the OTP of TPS38700.
In the data sheet, there was a description that "Please contact TI" for OTP writing.
What kind…
Part Number: TPS38700 We are using a TPS38700C04. According to the user manual the PEC checksum should be calculated using an initial value of FFh. However this causes a PEC error, whereas starting from a value of 00h -- as is documented for the TPS38700…
Part Number: TPS38700 HI team,
My customer would like to initialize FORCE_SHDN in 0x28 without communication via I2C because the host is already shutdown.
Is there any way to initialize FORCE_SHDN =00? If powered down VDD, FORCE_SHDN get 00b?
Thanks,
Sh…
Hello Zou,
The internal oscillator output of the device can be accessed through the CLK32 pin. An external oscillator can also be connected to the device through the Xin pin if desired.
