Hi AE,
Please help check two question as below.
1. According to the TPS3895 design specifications, when the CT pin is not connected to a capacitor, the default min delay time tpd(r) is 40 µs.
2. When the target delay time tpd(r) needs to be set to approximately 105 ms, we can recalculate the required CT as follows:

Hi team,
My customer met below two questions about TPS3895, pls help on this, thanks.
The simplified power supply is as below, there is two power desperately for VCC abd SENSE pin. Power1 is for VCC, and Power2(battery) is for SENSE.

2. Due to the considerations of POWER2 loss, pls help check which power will support for SENSE_OUT's power loss? Power 1 or power 2(BAT)?

Thanks.
Joyce

While the voltage value of VCC reaches VPOR (=0.8V), the voltage value of SENSE_OUT is less than 0.8V?

Hi
Currently we found the electrical characteristic of TPS3895A is suitable for our application, but we need a package with SOT23, which is reworked easier than the USON package
Is any alternative part available?
I listed the electrical requirements as follows and the description is based on the pin out of TPS3895A
1. SENSE : Adjust any voltage threshold as our intention down to the VREF in the chip
2. Enable : Active High
3. CT: the maximum delay is less than 100us
4. SENSE_OUT: Active High (Push-Pull type)
Thanks

Hi
We are evaluating TPS3895A, according to 7.5 Electrical Characteristics, the built-in hysteresis voltage is 5mV(Typ).
Is it possible to program the hysteresis voltage as user intention?
How do we program this value if it is feasible?
Is there any limitation we should take into account?
Thanks for the comment!

Ben

When I disable the voltage monitor output, there's a 50mV undershoot at the sense line. There is a 309kΩ series resistor between the sense line and the voltage I'm monitoring, implying that a 160nA current is causing the sag. The block diagram shows the sense line going to a high-impedance op-amp input.
What is causing this sag at the sense line?

Hi, according to the TPS3895 datasheet, adding a capacitor will add a delay of ~ delay(s) = cap(uF)x4. This means for a 3uF capacitor, we get a delay time of 12S. This is the highest value of capacitance referred to in the graph in the datasheet. I am hoping to have a delay of 60S, and thus use an external cap of 15uF - is this OK? Is there a max capacitance that can be used?
Many Thanks,
Dave

Hi team,
My customer is using TPS3895 as supervise in their encoder 5V power supply monitoring. But the 5V might be unstable due to some worse case in industrial application. So the input signal of TPS3895 is always have a jitter at 4.1V and causes output had an unexpected pulse shown in below picture.
Thus, my customer add a feedback circuit R29 between In and out pin which could help improve the unstable false pulse cased by the jitter on 4.1V. Do they have any risk of violating the datasheet spec? If not violating, what is the recommended value of R29? The device is our part number, please ignore SGM895 typo.

Hi team,
There are two types of PKG drawings in the TPS3895 datasheet.
Which is the correct drawing?
Sincerely.

Hi Team,
The TPS389x datasheet shows 2 package specifications for the USON (DRY) package: DRY0006A (0.6mm max height) and DRY0006B (0.55mm max height).
If a customer orders a device, which of this package specification is expected to be delivered?
Thanks in advance!
Kind Regards,
Jejomar
