Part Number: TPS40090-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40090 Hello all,
I would like to know how to simulate the topology of TPS40090-Q1 on Power Stage Designer Tool. I think this is normal topology of current mode. Is it possible to use normal…
Part Number: TPS40090-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40090 design a circuit that 100V to 56V,about 800W;
the circuit of TPS40090 is same as the EVM
the following is the Architecture at a later level
but i only get 3V of the output voltage, why?

Hi
I read that this is rising edge driven, I want to use low duty cycle to drive it, what's the lowest pulse duration for stable operation (full operating temperature) 5V drive?
Best regards
Geraldine,
Please read section 9.2.2 in the datasheet completely. There are multiple limitations discussed in this section.
Please consider one of TI's many automotive qualified power controllers as an alternative.
Something like this might work for…
Andy,
For 50 A load current you will probably need a controller. There are 6 possibilities:
TPS53667 - 6-Phase, D-CAP+ Step-Down Driverless Buck Controller with NVM and PMBus Interface for AVS www.ti.com/.../tps53667
TPS53647 - 4-Phase, D-CAP+TM…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5122 , LM5170-Q1 , TPS40090 , UCC28950 Hi!
We know using multiple LM5122s can work for multiple phases by syn-ICs. I wonder whether there are a single IC (analog) can work for multiple phase DC/DC control purpose. Thank…
Part Number: TPS40322 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40140 , TPS40090 , LM5119 , LMC555 , LM5143-Q1 , LM5143 Hi there,
I'm using the TPS40140 in a four channel design as laser power supply. Esp for its excellent current sharing, the wide 42Vin range and…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40090-Q1 Hi,
We are planning to use TPS40090-Q1 as boost converter for an automotive - audio application.
The circuit will be similar to PMP4538 rev-c schematic except, ours would be a dual phase design. Vin= battery…
