Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40304 Hi,
I'm working on the design of the DCDC regulator 12 V / 5,5 V 3 A with controller TPS40304. We assembled the prototype pcb, the problem is, that controller is running, switching the MOSFETs, but doesn't…
Hi Arnaud,
Yes, I think it is quite possible for the switching spike to kill the BOOT pin of TPS40304. Increase BOOT resistor, high-side gate resistor and RC snubber between SW and GND are effective ways to lower down the spike.
The only difference between…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40304 , CSD17313Q2 Whil creat a new design for Vin=14-18V, Vout=12V/6A,I got the recomendation design with the TPS40304.
Looking at the recomended FET, it is the CSD17313Q2.
Looking at the d/s for the CAS1713Q2,I saw…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM26003 , TPS40304 Hello guys,
I'm looking for a (Cadsoft) Eagle library for the following two components: LM26003 and TPS40304. Does a library with there components exists or do I have to make one myself. Thanks!
Kind…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SWITCHERPRO , TPS40304 , TPS40304EVM-353 Hi,
We need to help for DC/DC converter
Required
Input Voltage : 13.5v ~ 15v
Output Voltage : 12v (200mV ripple )
Output Current : 20A Max
We made the board following circuit ,…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40304 Hi
May I know where I can get the footprint for TPS40304 for Allegro Cadence tool? (.dra & .psm file)
Thanks.
Changing Cboot from 100nF to 200nF should not have caused the output voltage to exceed 5.5V unless there is another issue.
Instability in the output voltage, leakage in the FB divider from VOUT to FB, or damage to the control of the high-side FET could…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40304 Dear All,
On our board we are using TPS40304 device to generate 0.8V output supply. The input supply is 5V to the device and when the device is powered ON, the device is failing and following are our observations…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SWITCHERPRO , TPS40304 Hi
Attached is an image of the design schematic generated from SwitcherPro from Vin of (12V - 16V) to an output of 1.2V @10A using TPS40304.
From here, the inductor L1 is 1.2uH. However, if we…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS40304 , TPS40305 , TPS40303 Customer reports that FSS will not always be enabled at startup using the recommended 267kOhm resistor. Is this indicative of hidden features?
In addition to the above observation, the customer…
