It sounds like the dongle is trying to send the PMBus commands faster than the TPS40400 can respond. Try reducing the BUS speed in the adapter settings to 100kHz instead of 400kHz to give more time for the TPS40400 to keep up with the commands.
Part Number: TPS40400 After the adapter was used for many times, it suddenly appeared abnormal. The software kept displaying no usb, and the adapter was very hot. Our use method is to connect the 10-pin terminal of the adapter to the product and the digital…
Part Number: TPS40400 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320DM8168 Hi All,
We are using TPS40400 in our design for supplying AVS core supply to TMS320DM8168 processor. The address of the TPS40400 is programmed to 0x38(70 in octal) using resistors…
Part Number: TPS40400 Hi Team,
during test on EVM, we find Vout reading through GUI is lower than voltage measure on Vsns+ - Vsns- . Please kindly see below.
test point on EVM : TP6 and TP18. TP6 and TP18 is connected directly to Vout and GND through…
Part Number: TPS40400 I designed a tps40400.
But there is no output. Circuit is same with your webench.
BP3, BP6,VDD pin voltage is normal. There is no switching signal.
GUI status error is Vout OVF.
I don't know what's problem.
Part Number: TPS40400 Hi Expert,
My customer is using TPS40400 on one project. During the program burning procedure on the product line, they found one module couldn't import the input UVLO register value successfully. They checked the operation method…
