Not sure what flexibility there is on VIN, but if it could be 5.5V, then the TPS5410-EP looks ideal : http://www.ti.com/product/tps5410-ep .
The TPS54311-EP fits the VIN described, and has an integrated switch, so this might be a plus in this…
