TPS5403 is minimum 2.2 A current limit. What are your comments about 6 or 11 to 15 A? If you only need 1.7 A output at 3 .3 V, no way the tPS5403 will draw anywhere near that current. At 12 V input (worst case) TPS5403 will draw about .57 A from the input…
