Part Number: TPS54560EVM-515 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS54560 , TPS54560B Dear all,
We would like to know the thermal performance on TPS54560EVM-515 for 12V output/ 3A output and 12V output/ 5A output applications.
May I know if there is…
Part Number: TPS54560EVM-515 Hi,
I am trying to implement a variable buck to output 5A@0-55V at Vin=60V. I took TPS54560EVM by replacing the inductor and Cout based on Webbench design tool. To dynamically change Vout, I adopt a DAC with a R3 in series…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS54560EVM-515 , PMP Hi team,
A customer is interested in the gerber/design files for the TPS54560EVM-515. Does someone have those available to provide?
Thanks in advance,
Billy
Hi RA, looks like you are using the datasheet example schematic, which is good as it is proven-out.
The layout could be improved on. Some criticial traces have excessive routing to them which isn't ideal (ie: BOOT, RT, FB, COMP)
It is recommended…
Part Number: TPS54560B-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS54560EVM-515 , TPS54560 Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools Hello. I have a question about tps54560b-q1.
I purchased the evaluation board TPS54560EVM-515.
The wiring from the feedback…
Hi Mehmet,
I think using a copper plate may not be the best route in order to check the circuit since it is a high output voltage and thermal. The webench design seems to give you the desired initial component values for your design.
If you like…
Hello,
We have been able to recreate the problem with the modified TPS54560EVM-515 for 28.8V.
The output current is 3A, and when we reduce the input voltage from 40V, this problem was recreate around 25.8V.
The circuit daiagram and waveform with…
Hi Leo,
My set-up uses the TPS54560EVM-515 and changing the FB resistors to have a 12V output at 4A load in room temperature.
I saw max duty cycle operation at around 13V. After that, the output voltage does track the input down to 10.8V with about…
Part Number: TPS54560 Hi Ti,
I am working on TPS54560 with the below specs
Vin: 24V
Vout: 12.4V
Iout: 4.2A ~ 4.4A
The load resistor (3 ohm) is used to to draw contstant Iout at 4.2A to 4.4A, after few seconds the IC overheat at 150degC and faced…
