Hello TI,
I have a design for the TPS552882 to take a voltage input of 20.0V to 33.6V and output 20.0V. The current draw of that 20.0V output does not pass 2A. This regulator is the used to power 3 stepper motors…
Hi Jeffery,
Considering typical Vin range:9-16V, then maximum input current will be 13.2*12/0.95/9=18.5A. This is out of TPS552882-Q1 SPEC. TPS51772-q1 is more suitable here. Can you help check with customer?
Regards,
Mulin
Hi Alex,
About RC snubber, please refer to EVM board. Recommend to use 1206 package resistor.
TPS552882 can be used as battery charger, but it is not a common application. Do you have a EVM board? I think you can use a TPS552882 EVM first to see if it…

Part Number: TPS552882-Q1 Dear Sir,
we are designing DC to dc converter using 552882Q1, for stress analysis we don't have enough data for calculating the losses, can you please share the details about power loss calculation equation reference…
Hi Tagore,
Mulin Yuan said: Since the input voltage is 12V, sw1 should be 12V as well, why the waveform shows 17V?
How about this question?
Is there any other circuit between power supply and TPS55288? Is there any other device working at the same time…

Part Number: TPS552882 Tool/software: Hello,
I'm having an issue with the TPS552882, where it will intermittently (1/20+ times) fail on power up. This has been replicated on 5+ boards now. The failure only occurs on startup- never during operation. Once…
